5. AI Companion Data
Messages you send to the AI companion are processed to generate responses and may be stored to maintain conversation context and improve service quality. We implement safeguards to prevent AI providers from using your data to train general models where contractually permitted. Do not share highly sensitive personal information (such as confession details or medical diagnoses) with the AI companion—use priest counseling or professional services for those needs.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After account deletion, we delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or legitimate business purposes (such as transaction records). Counseling booking records may be retained as required by applicable pastoral or regulatory requirements.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), encrypted storage for sensitive content, Firebase security rules, access controls, and regular security reviews. Digital books use DRM protection to prevent unauthorized copying. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
