Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Hello Jesus — Fr. Andrew Esuamobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by SolaviseTech (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service. Certain features, including priest counseling and subscription purchases, may require you to be at least 18 years old or have verified parental consent.

2. Account Registration

To access most features, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@fatherandrewesua.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Description of Service

Hello Jesus provides access to:

• Sacred music streaming and audio content
• Digital books, devotionals, and reading materials
• One-on-one spiritual counseling via video sessions with licensed priests
• An AI-powered spiritual companion for faith-related questions
• E-commerce for faith-based products and resources
• Subscription-based premium content and features
• Push notifications and personalized content recommendations

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where practicable.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Subscription Plans

Certain content and features require a paid subscription. Subscription details, pricing, and billing cycles are displayed in the app before purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.

4.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through third-party providers (including Apple App Store, Google Play, and Stripe). By making a purchase, you agree to the applicable payment provider's terms. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.

4.3 Refunds

All purchases through the Service — including subscriptions, digital content, store orders, counseling sessions, and advertising — are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. Canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not refund amounts already paid.

4.4 Counseling Session Fees

Priest counseling sessions are booked and paid separately. Sessions are non-refundable once paid. No-shows or late cancellations are not eligible for a refund.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Harass, abuse, or harm priests, other users, or our staff
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app
• Circumvent DRM, copy protection, or access controls on digital content
• Redistribute, resell, or publicly perform streamed music or downloaded content
• Use the AI companion to generate harmful, abusive, or non-faith-related content at scale
• Upload malware or interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity, including priests or Fr. Andrew Esua

6. Intellectual Property

All content in the Service—including music, books, devotionals, images, text, logos, and software—is owned by SolaviseTech, Fr. Andrew Esua, or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your subscription or purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access content for personal, non-commercial use only.

The Hello Jesus name, logo, and “Digital Cathedral” branding are trademarks of SolaviseTech. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.

7. AI Spiritual Companion

The AI companion provides general spiritual guidance based on Catholic tradition and curated content. It is not a substitute for sacramental confession, professional mental health treatment, or direct pastoral care from an ordained priest. In emergencies or crisis situations, contact local emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately.

AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. Use discernment and consult a qualified priest for matters of significant spiritual or moral importance.

8. Priest Counseling

Counseling sessions connect you with independent priests who are responsible for the pastoral care they provide. SolaviseTech facilitates scheduling and video connectivity but does not provide counseling services directly. Session recordings, if any, require explicit consent from all parties.

9. User Content and Feedback

If you submit feedback, reviews, or other content through the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and improve the Service based on that content. You represent that your submissions do not violate any third-party rights.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Firebase, payment processors, WebRTC providers, and AI services. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Spiritual content is offered for inspirational and educational purposes. It does not constitute legal, medical, or professional advice.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOLAVISETECH AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED CANADIAN DOLLARS (CAD $100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SolaviseTech and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for conduct we deem harmful to the community. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases, but provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

15. Data Deletion

You can request the deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. To do so, you can use the account deletion options within the app settings, or contact us directly at support@fatherandrewesua.com. Once requested, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within the timeframe specified in our Privacy Policy. Please note that deleting your account or data is permanent, and you will lose access to any active subscriptions, digital content purchases, and history associated with your account.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
